Lawyer-Client Fee Agreement $1,500

It is hereby agreed that Charles L. Barberio IV and The People’s Counsel (hereinafter referred to as “Attorney”), will provide legal services to the above named client on the terms set forth below.

It is understood by Client that this agreement will not take effect, and Attorney will have no obligation to provide legal services until Client returns a signed copy of this agreement and pays the initial deposit of $1,500.00. Further, Client understands that if paying by personal check, Attorney reserves the right to not begin work on the case until Client’s check has cleared the bank.

It is understood between Client and Attorney that the charges outlined above are for legal services provided for Client by Attorney. Client understands that an additional filing fee will be required when the petition for Limited Driving Privilege or Reinstatement is filed. Client is responsible for court fees and any costs associated with installing and maintaining ignition interlock. Client is aware that he is responsible for any other charges that do not pertain to the legal services provided by Attorney.

Client understands that nothing in this agreement and nothing in Attorney’s statements to Client will be construed as a promise or guarantee about the outcome of the matter. Attorney makes no such promises or guarantees. Attorney’s comments about the outcome of the matter are expressions of opinion only. The decision to grant your request for Limited Driving Privilege or Reinstatement is in the sole discretion of the judge; any promise or guarantee of outcome would be unethical.

The surety is listed below and is bound by the terms of this contract and is obligated to pay any amounts owing under this contract to the same extent as client.

THE PARTIES HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THE FOREGOING TERMS AND AGREE TO THEM AS OF THE DATE ATTORNEY FIRST PROVIDED SERVICES. UPON REQUEST, CLIENT SHALL RECEIVE A FULLY EXECUTED DUPLICATE OF THIS AGREEMENT.
