THE PEOPLE’S COUNSEL WILL BE THERE FIGHTING FOR YOUR RIGHTS ALL THE WAY!

When you are contemplating a criminal defense lawyer in Ladue Missouri, there are plenty of firms you can choose from. But not all defense attorneys are made the same (and they certainly do not have the same level of experience). And if you are facing criminal charges of any kind, it is far better to retain the services of a lawyer who is willing to aggressively fight the charges.
To be sure, there are lots of Ladue MO criminal defense attorneys who will claim that they are “the best,” or that they will “fight hard.” But not many firms have the actual track record to show proof of this. When The People’s Counsel is hired, and the Ladue prosecutor learns that our legal team is on the case, the court knows how hard our lawyers will work. In other words, there is never any confusion about what kind of representation we provide to our clients.

Our Ladue Missouri criminal defense lawyers have successfully handled some of the most complex criminal cases in the state of Missouri (from high-level murder charges, to resisting arrest, to more straightforward misdemeanors like trespassing). But no matter what sort of charge you are looking at, The People’s Counsel will stand by your side from start to finish.

LADUE MISSOURI CRIMINAL DEFENSE LAWYER

Because of our willingness to work hard (and investigate all the facts), our team has successfully gotten many criminal cases dismissed. Not all defense attorneys have the necessary experience to achieve such an outcome. But if such an opportunity exists, then our team will find it, and we will waste little time in making the prosecutor aware of our intent to fight to have the charges dropped.

Although criminal charges rarely make it all the way to a trial, the Ladue MO criminal defense lawyers at The People’s Counsel are more than ready to move forward. And when such a situation arises, we will make it incredibly difficult for the prosecutor to do his/her job. This is because our defense team will fight every single step of the way, and force the government to prove each element of the statute under which you were charged. If the government fails in its duty, we will again demand that the charges be dismissed.

Most criminal cases are wrapped up long before a trial is even considered. This is because things are often resolved by way of a “plea bargain.” A plea bargain is a deal between you and the court (negotiated by the Ladue Missouri criminal defense attorneys at The People’s Counsel) in which you do not admit guilt to the original charge. Instead, our team would cut a deal in which you plead to a much lesser offense, such as ‘littering.’ Pleading to a minor infraction would result in nothing negative becoming a part of your permanent record.

In the alternative, we may also have a chance to convince the judge that you should be placed on probation. This is described as an SIS (Suspended Imposition of Sentence). Most misdemeanors carry potential jail time and a large fine. However, if the judge is willing to order an SIS, you would not do any time in prison, nor would you have to pay any fine to the Clerk of the Court. Both of these things would be suspended in favor of a period of probation (which usually lasts between one (1) and two (2) years in length). So long as you make it through the probation without getting into any new trouble, the original charges will not go onto your record.

And please do trust us when we tell you that a marked up record is not something you want! So if you are facing criminal charges in Ladue MO, then you should absolutely give us a call. The sooner we can begin working on your case, the better. Our team we keep you regularly updated on our progress, and make sure that you receive the best outcome possible. We look forward to hearing from you!!
